1 Engineer - 2 Sentries - what gives?

I've noticed recently, in a couple of pub servers I play on, engineers building 2 of everything 2 Sentries, 2 Dispensers etc.

I this some kind of legitimate server setting or is this a glitch?

If it's a glitch - do not tell me how to reproduce it - I'm just interested if it's a server setting or not?

Anyone know?

Yes it's a mod or something. I've seen it on a pub before. You have to type in build_dispersor 2 or something in console, and if you have metal it'll bring up the building schematic for the second sentry/dispenser.

I want a level playing field but I don't want to cheat.

I don't think so. Mods aren't cheats, just modifications to the game.
Of course they work best if there's a mod for every class, to even it out.
It's widely debated which classes need 'nerfs' and which need buffs.
If you want to play what Valve considers totally fair, play on vanilla servers, aka no mods, and in some cases no custom maps.

Edit: To clarify, this won't work on any server, only ones with the correct mod.

Damn pubs. I told them to not do that when I'm gone.

I've seen 2 dispensers, and I've seen a crazy one with no limit on sg's, including portable sgs.  I really love the 2 dispenser idea, and I would give up the pistol to add another dispenser.

Anyone know what server(s) this mod is on? I really want to give this a go. Thanks.

The alpha/omega servers use the two dispenser mod and instant recharge teles.  They run two 24/7 orangex3 servers I like to screw around on.

The really crazy multiple sg server is a 24/7 mariocart server.  It got old really quick for me.  It was like they were trying to see how many mods they could run at once.
