Ha, watching everyone freak out about Low Grav is hilarious.

For whatever reason, Valve set it up so either some or all games are automatically set with 20% gravity. This seems to be happening without warning, patch, or intention. It's just my speculation, but my guess is that they might roll out the DLC weapons pack and are doing this similar to the Party/Birthday mode forced on servers on PC.

are you sure Valve set this up? I had heard from everyone else someone just hacked into the system. Wouldn't we have to download a patch if Valve had done this anyway?

It's possible that these variables/mods are included with the 360 version of TF2 but never used.  My guess is that this is not Valve setting up some random game but that the host has modded his 360 to alter these settings.  The game I was in was not a normal game with low grav, it was all messed up with being able to hear both teams communicate on the mic at the same time, having blue guys start at red spawn, spontaneously catching on fire and one guy (probably the host) was warping all around the map at high speeds, forward, back, up, down etc.

I wasn't aware of this Xplorer360 but what I had in mind was exactly this.  I would venture a guess that ALL of these things I mentioned were a result of this tool since they all were going on in the same game (plus Low Grav and hidden sayings.)  As for the spontaneously catching on fire bit, it wasn't like anything I've seen before as the ENTIRE team would be screaming they were on fire but nobody was actually in flames, all you saw was the blood splatter commng out of them ever 2 seconds and your health meter go down.  It looked pretty sweet actually.

Was on again last night and Low grav was up.  XxPhatBuddaxX or something of that sort was the host.  Ive seen him around before hosting games, not like this though.

It's a hack. And the low grav part is viral. If you host a game after being in a hacked room the effect will persist in your room too. The all-talk and noclip is not viral. Simply restart your xbox/game to host normal matches again. Valve most definitely didn't do this.

It was started by the Jetpack Terrorist clan, specifically either Conspiracy Jokerz or I Scream Cow. I think it's really good, anyway, but the only problem is the viral part, where now half the games being hosted are by people playing around with the gravity. I played with JPT and they have the gravity, and they can turn Alltalk on, as well as making people die over time...

mmm i do kind of miss the low gravity i might look into the clans....
