So is there any way to control the way people are facing when they come out of your teleporter?  I personally hate it when you use one and end up facing into the corner, but is that based on how you enter it, or how it was built?

Thanks

When you build a teleporter, or any building for that matter, you can rotate them before you place them with your alternate fire button.. I'm on Xbox, so Im not sure what that is for pc.  I would assume left mouse button..

It's based on how it was built. Look when you build it and you'll see a little arrow. Build it immediately upon selecting it, and people will appear out of the teleporter facing in the same direction you were when you built it. Rotate it twice, and someone teleporting in would stand face to face with you.

Do everyone a favour, and make sure to rotate the tele so that they can see where they are going when they come out! (if you're extra awesome, place their backs in a position where they can't get ambushed).

As a frequent HW player, this is a pet pain of mine - it's not uncommon for me to enter a tele and immediately die because it's being camped by a spy or pyro which I can't take out fast enough...

to rotate yes, but the arrow on the blueprint decides which way the heavy (or other class) comes out.

{Off Topic} Cascade, can u send me an invite to the EU section please...cheers in advance- Utter Nutter.

Try teleporting with your Minigun revving--  That way, you can start shooting the instant you transfer.

Done!

PS: What do you mean, heavy (or other class)? It's ALWAYS the heavy. ALWAYS. Learn this.

lol, of course I do that - I'm referring to the situation where you tele in and a spy backstabs you as you arrive. My ping's such that I don't get a chance to react before he kills me - and I only just get time to react to a puff+sting.

Heavies and medics have priority.

Medics first because healing teammates is more important than killing enemies.

Heavy is second because he's slower than a retarded turtle.
