UPDATED 10/17: Here are some sketches that I've scanned for your perusal. The last two are REALLY close to how I imagine Guido will end up looking like.

Okay, so I've been mulling over the mechanics for a new Hunted map.
In the original, you had a VIP - armed only with an umbrella - that needed to be escorted to his car on the other side of the map. Playable classes on his team were Soldier, Medic, and HWGuy... and I believe that's it. If he reached the car, then it would be like a flag cap for the VIP team.
The other team, the Assassins, were comprised of Snipers - and they had lots of great shadowed perching areas to do their dirty work in (behind crates, up in Eagle's nests on each side of the garage, ect.)
To make things a bit different though, I thought of a very simple thing that can be added to the VIP to make him less vulnerable... he can open his "armored" umbrella and duck for cover... however he cannot move while int his protected postiion.
Now, anyone who's played this map before will probably understand how significant this change is. Even though it's very simple, I think it would add a bit more strategy on behalf of the VIP - does he push forward, or stay in one place while time ticks away?
Another very important aspect of remaking The Hunted is to fit it into the same style as the rest of TF2. In my mind, the VIP should be a shrewed businessman - possibly mafioso. He would have sayings like "Medic! Get over here.", "I have diplomatic immunity!", "I'm Untouchable!", and "I want them DEAD!".
Now, mind you, I'm in the way early conceptual stages of this - and I'm only interested in the design process, not the modelling or mapping or coding - so this is more like an assist to anyone interested in taking the idea further.
So after thinking this theme up for the character, I sketched an evil version of Mr. Mushnick from Little Shop of Horrors. lol

Okay, you win some - you lose some. I liked the overall concept, but the more I looked at all the roundness of the face, the more "soft" he looked. It was Disney, not Leyendecker or Bruce Timm.
So, five minutes later, I came up with this one...

We're a bit closer, the umbrella shape is in there, he's wearing Leyendecker gloves and an arrow collar suit. I'd say that we're about 75% there now for the face.
Body shape will most likely be a peach... head is like the top of an egg.
Do you TFC vets think he should still look scared? Maybe if we have talented people working on this, there can be two or three stages of fear as he loses health. Angry, paranoid, and fearful.
Just wanted to share my thoughts. Even if this ends up being nothing but an idea and a few two minute sketches.
