Update for Playstation 3

Well, I was feeling a bit bored this morning and decided to bug the folks over at EA.  Since the Heavy update came out, I was hoping to poke them a bit and see about an update for the PS3.  So, I fired off an email to their support team and am awaiting a reply... should be an interesting conversation, if nothing else!

Yeah, I'm salivating over that Heavy update.  Partic. the Arena gameplay thing.

Seriously though, EA doesn't give a damn about the PS3 players. It would be great if they reply to you and say that there are plans to give us some updates but it won't happen. Do keep us posted if hell freezes over and you do get a reply though.

I figured it was a tried and failed method.  However, being the new guy around here, I figured it didn't hurt to use my ignorance a little bit.  I've heard a lot about how EA doesn't like "PS3" or give a hoot about people who own them... I'm going to get something a bit more official and specific.  If it isn't a product that they are going to continue to support or whatnot.

hahaha good luck man. EA could give a rats ass about ps3 players. The heavy update is the least of your worries...

Electronic Arts, had stated awhile ago that for order for them to release patches that include; maps, patches, and expansion packs. The developer of the game must send Electronic Art's computer code for order to ported it onto a the Playstation 3. I'm guessing that Valve never sent any code to Electronic Art's, so obviously no update/patch will be given for download for you guys. Also when you think about it one of Valve's lead programmers had stated "a waste of everybody's time. Investing in the Cell, investing in the SPE gives you no long-term benefits. There's nothing there that you're going to apply to anything else. You're not going to gain anything except a hatred of the architecture they've created" in an interview with CVG. I'm sorry Playstation 3 owners but think of it this way, there are lots of Playstation 3 online games out there. Metal Gear Online, is far better than Team Fortress 2 and has so much content that you wouldn't believe. Resistance Fall of Man, even though it was a first gen PS3 game man this game is worth the purchase and the community is marvelous http://myresistance.net . Call of Duty 4 might be your typical run and gun FPS game but if your big on friends thats where you go. Singstar, the best game ever in my opinion and wonderful online expecially with the PS EYE. Don't be sad.

I doubt we will get any updates for the remainder of the PS3 orange boxes life. Valve redirects you to EA and EA redirects you to Valve. If you really enjoy this game though I suggest joining a clan or add alot of people who you see often. This game is much better organised and it'll give you alot more reason to play.

I'm sorry but what does the end of your post have to do with this topic? I think he haves friends who play this game Master Exploder, and I beg to differ but TF2 for PS3 is not so organized. It doesn't have that much content to be organized.

I've played other multi-players and for reasons I won't get into (it's too boring), TF2 rules them all.
