I'm making a map, its a recreation of the counterstrike map fy_pool_day
It's my first map and probably not suitable for any serious play due to its size. However I'll let you all have your opinion on that. I'm making it mostly because pool_day was a kickass map for just screwing around and I'm learning the ins and outs of hammer.

There's a few changes in this recreation I'm doing from the original. First of all, it's larger to accommodate snipers and projectile spam.
One of the things I loved doing in the CS version was going onto the roof of the pool complex and sniping from above (only possible under low gravity). Therefore one of the mirror rooms on either side has been converted to a staircase to the roof. Unrealistic, I know. It's for fun. Anyways, this will allow for any class to reach the roof instead of scouts, demomen and soliders.
So snipers have two choices, they can stay on the ground level, where they have protection of the walls but can get spammed and killed, or they can go on the roof, where there is basically no cover.
It is still a rather small map which pyros may enjoy but this is offset by the giant pool in the middle, which I think balances it out.
I'm considering to put a small health pack on the roof, but chances are I'll make it difficult to access but easier for scouts.
There are two small ammo packs in both mirror rooms and one large ammo pack in the middle.
The control point will be located inside the pool, but I'll make it so you don't have to be submerged to be capping it, and I'll probably also make it so you can cap it from the diving board. I'll see.
Also you can't build in the pool underwater. I did that to prevent the cheap stealth level 3 sentries.
