My thanks to the mathdorks.com community for allowing me to test the map there and all their wonderful feedback.

My first completed source map. It's a map based off fy_pool_day from CS and put into TF2 in arena form. Essentially it's a symmetrical map with a giant pool in the middle.

The map is slightly edited from the CS version to for class balances. Ammo is plentiful and there's a small healthpack near the pool rules sign. I made it possible for all classes to get up onto the roof now via stairs, just so soldiers and demos aren't the only ones up there spamming people below. Plus, I used love playing pool day on low gravity just so I can get up on the roof, so I built it into the game.

Notes for all the classes:
- Scout: Lots and lots of places to take advantage of double jumping to get on the roof. He's a fun class to play here because its like a gym for him.
- Solider: Can rocket jump to roof, enclosed spaces allow for good use of splash damage.
- Pyro: Most of it is close combat, but has the pool in the middle to balance it out.
- Demoman: Plenty of good places for sticky traps and grenade usage.
- Engineer: I added a medium ammo pack near spawn. Engineer is always difficult on arena mode but I've tried to accommodate engineers as much as possible. I've seen some pretty cool strategies, building sentries on the roof is very deadly (but also risky). However you can't build stuff in the main pool, to prevent cheap surprise sentries.
- Heavy: A really solid class for a map like this, although you might have trouble finding a good place to eat those sandviches.
- Medic: A very challenging map. Lots of healing needed and medics are always a priority target for the other team. With all the close combat that goes on you have to be very careful.
- Sniper: The roof doesn't have very good cover but is high up, and the ground floor has lots of cover but can have enemies coming around corners at any moment. Very challenging to play.
- Spy: I added places for the spy to hopefully decloak in comfort. Spies haven't had much trouble that I've seen.

The control point is located in the center pool. It can only be captured by either being in the pool (don't worry, you don't have to be submerged), or by sitting on the end of the diving board which only has room for one or two people. Any struggle for the final control point that involves swimming should be a lot of fun.

Please please please set up a test for this on our servers sometime. I'm eager to try it out in a full game.

You should work this song into your level.

It's only like on one or two servers. I should probably bug a few admins to add it, particularly to the tf2f arena server.
