If you go with a G5, make sure you get the SE (second edition) since it has two thumb buttons and not the one that the first editions have.
ehhhh actually (afaik)
the G5 SE stands for special edition
and has one thumb button but
a 1000hz polling rate @ 2000dpi...
afaik this version was only released in europe/canada
its got a blue base, with a grey/blue top and blue lights
then theres the G5v2 which has:
2 thumb buttons
1000hz polling rate @ 2000dpi
black base, with a crackled blue top, and orange lights
and then of course theres the G5v1:
which has 1 thumb button
500hz polling rate @ 2000dpi
blac base, sliver top, orange lights
And the benchmark that keeps getting cited was done on the v1 of the G5...which is a fubar model that isnt even made anymore...
so
