Alright boys and girls, listen up. The folks over at #tf2arena (that's their irc channel) have asked me to promote an event that they have recently started. This weekend will be the 3rd time they have done this, so that is in part the reason it is only 3vs3. The admin I spoke to, Kon, did state that they are open to feedback of course. Meaning, the format can and may change in the future.
The sign ups for this take place in their irc at 9pm est Saturday evening, and the games get going at about 10pm est. They expect it to run about 2 hours, so until about midnight, though I would imagine that is only for the teams who keep winning. However, their admins would be able to tell you more.
There is a prize for the winner, a server from their sponsor. If you would like further details on this, I suggest you boot up irc and go to #tf2arena. They will be happy to answer any and all relevant questions you might have. Feel free to tell them Lancer from TF2F sent you.
For those of you who may be wondering why we are promoting an event held by a different community, you have to realize this. It is important to us here at TF2F that the TF2 community as a whole remains strong, and we are always willing to do whatever we can to aid people in obtaining that goal.
